Requesting a quote is completely free. If you accept a quote from a trades professional you will pay them directly. We will never ask you to pay us directly for a trades job completed. If you receive any notifications from us requesting payment, please notify us immediately.
You have our guarantee that all of our member trades and services have committed to working to a high standard. We are impartial and can recommend them all, because the public has repeatedly recommended them to us. The high standard across the board means that differences in overall score are relatively small. We have found that other factors, such as price or availability, usually help customers to make their decisions. The highest scored business may not necessarily be the most appropriate for your particular job.
You have the ability to leave feedback through your profile dashboard. You can give a star recommendation and leave written feedback. This will be linked to that exact job.
If a job has not been completed, you can update the status of the job and let us know that the job has been stopped. If this is the case, we will ask for immediate feedback.
Yes, just send us a message with all of their contact details and we will contact them immediately.
We do this so that we can ensure the integrity of the feedback from our customers. We also give our trades professionals the ability to rate you as customer. This feedback will also be linked to your profile.
You will have a max of 5 trades companies quote you a price based on your budget, location and job specifics. We believe that this is enough choice to make a good decision with a competitive price and a company that has a great reputation.
Yes. In your profile you have your very own dashboard that will display your current job requests and also the updates on how these are progressing.

TRADES FAQ

Business can be competitive. Only so many people in your area at a time will have a need for your services. It’s important to be in front of these customers and at the front of their minds when they do need what you have to offer. Quote Me Quick specializes in marketing and gives you the advantage over your competitors. Instead of throwing money at Google, Facebook and radio, let us do that and give you the leads that come from it. Are you better to be working at getting leads or doing what you do best?
A MEMBERSHIP CHECKLIST for when you create your profile, we’ll ask you for:
  • Minimum of 3 references for us to call or visit
  • Copy of your public liability insurance documents - $1million minimum
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in your trade at a senior level
  • To hold all qualifications required by law to carry out your work (Provide on request)
  • To agree to our Terms & Conditions/Complaints procedure & privacy policy
  • To uphold the high standards expected of our members
  • We are available to offer you advice on uploading photographs to your profile along with your references etc, adding your reviews or updating any information you may wish to change. Don’t worry about leaving us a message after office hours, we always pick up your messages first thing in the morning, so we’ll always aim to get back to you first thing the next working day!
It’s simple to just sign in to your membership account on QMQ and update any of your company details and add profile images. If you have any trouble, you can of course call our team on 09 928 1326. They’ll be happy to help you with any problem you may be having or send us a message through the contact tab outside of business hours.
If a customer gives feedback under 60%, our system initiates an automatic investigation, and the feedback is sent directly to our Administration Team. It is not possible for a customer to leave a poor rating without it first being seen by our team. This means that we contact you and the customer first to find out what the issues were. If it is deemed suitable that a poor reference is left, then we let the future customers on QMQ know, because we have checked that it is reliable customer feedback. The reason that we check is to confirm the authenticity of the review.
Yes. It’s important to understand how our customers operate with our trades professionals in terms of prompt payment and communication levels etc. You will see this customer feedback when we send you the quote request as this will help assess whether or not to accept the job or put it as priority along with the budget they have set for the job. You can leave a star rating along with comments.
Yes, however this can affect your overall feedback score. If it is due to a breakdown in the customer relationship or the customer isn’t paying you, we can assess this on an individual bases. However if this happens a second time we will assess this straight away and may result in suspension from the website or termination of access to the website.

Our platinum trades professionals will get first priority and jobs that have larger budgets attached to them and how quickly the job needs to be completed. Our platinum accounts will also receive these quote requests in advance of our gold trades professionals.

We understand that at times your calendar may be busier than other times. If you decline 3 jobs in a row we will freeze your account until we have spoken with you to find out when you will be free again.
We have two different account package deals available. You can join on a monthly basis or for the year. The package choices are the standard Gold package or the Platinum package. Click “join now” to see which package suits you.
